Documentary Film

The SEATTLE CHANNEL is producing a one-hour documentary to tell the fascinating stories of the A-Y-P and how it came to be—introducing the movers and shakers of Seattle 100 years ago and exploring the decisions that shaped the fair. Narrated by Tom Skerritt, the film will reveal the magic of the Pay Streak (the A-Y-P amusement park), revisit the fair’s few remaining physical traces and come face-to-face with fair visitors from exotic places.

With a combination of historic photographs, rare archival motion picture footage and contemporary interviews, the SEATTLE CHANNEL will create a journey to a nearly forgotten chapter in Seattle’s past.
